Jason & Andi Workman - Small Scale Growing

Jason and Andi started gardening in 2017 as a way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and foster quality time together. They started with three small raised-bed gardens in their back yard, and to grow everything they wanted to, they needed to be resourceful.

As the years have passed, Andi and Jason have expanded their backyard garden with more beds (not to mention the cutest flock of chickens and the dreamiest greenhouse!). Maximizing and making meaningful use of the space is at the heart of what they do, and we can’t wait to learn from them. They’ve truly lived and learned small scale growing and will be sharing their wealth of knowledge with us…and maybe a few stories, too!

Andi and Jason will be sharing insights and strategies to successfully grow in a small space.

In this class, you will:

  • Learn considerations and tips for gardening in raised beds

  • Get an introduction to square foot gardening and its principles and practices. Square foot gardening is a powerful planning method, used maximize growing space and efficiency.

This is an introductory, comprehensive class. While it is designed for any level of experience, those growing on a small scale with limited space will find this class especially helpful. No experience required.
